Today on Modern Art Notes: Robert Adams is one of America’s greatest living photographers. For 45 years he’s taken the American West as his subject. Adams is best-known for showing us how development and rapacious land-use have changed our most wondrous landscapes.
Adams is currently the subject of a Yale University Art Gallery-organized retrospective and an accompanying three-volume publication, which has been published by Yale University Press. Today I reviewed the exhibition on Modern Art Notes and found that it also features Adams showing us why he still loves the land.
